Jiayue Ding (b.1998, Hangzhou) is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and community organizer based in China. She weaves ritual, play, and mystical inquiries with social actions to create alternative spaces at the societal and sensory margins. Working across performance, participatory art, writing, and lens-based media, Jia explores how divergent sensory worlds, shared vulnerability, and feminist embodiment can cultivate new ways of connecting, knowing, and resisting within Chinese and global contexts.
As a co-founder of the art research collective 沉洞泉 Cenote Cosmos, the art & activism group 透明的下午 Transparent Afternoon, and the Deaf-friendly clubbing label BassBath, Jia's practice is grounded in long-term, horizontal collaboration with local communities, engaging contexts shaped by unequal access and visibility. Her past projects have been shown in Rockbund Museum, TANK Shanghai, Beijing Riverside Art Museum, Shanghai Himalaya Museum, DuoLun Museum of Modern Art, Vice China, Jiazazhi, XRK Psychiatric Ward, and the Kindergarten Without Walls, etc. She holds BA degrees in Sociology and Art History from UCLA.
丁佳悦 / 胖丁（1998 年生于中国杭州）是一名现居上海的跨学科艺术家、写作者与社群实践者。她于2021年获得加州大学洛杉矶分校社会学和艺术史双学位。她的媒介横跨社会参与式艺术、剧场、影像与文字，在社会与感知的边缘生成替代性的关系场域。
胖丁的创作源于内在超验经验与外在社会行动的交汇，关注身体如何承载并折射权力与集体叙事。她常借助仪式、游玩、梦境与半虚构的异世界观，展开对身体政治与内化结构的探索：或将不可言说的感受召回与转换，或通过新的感官空间，去松动那些被视为理所当然的秩序与边界。与此同时，她将合作视为一种关怀与互助的实践，持续与多元伙伴实验去中心与无障碍的场域。
她是艺术实践项目“沉洞泉”、“透明的下午”和聋人友好派对厂牌“BassBath低音浴“的创始成员。她过去的创作实施于外滩美术馆、上海喜马拉雅美术馆，多伦美术馆、北京山水美术馆，油罐艺术中心、Imaginary Z、阿那亚、Bie别的、无墙幼儿园、武汉馨润康精神病院等。她的摄影作品集曾由假杂志出版。
